Fish Market, a sushi bar in Allston, is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year with a recently acquired beer & wine license as well as a brand new late-night menu courtesy of Sun Hong, an Oishii alum (where Hong worked with the owners of Fish Market eight years ago). Since then, Hong has been working at some pretty swanky spots on the West Coast — Alma in LA, The Bazaar in Beverly Hills, and Sushi Kappo Tamura in Seattle.
Hong, who recently moved back here to join the Fish Market team, tells Eater that Friday and Saturday nights from 10 p.m. to midnight have been dubbed Sun's Night, featuring special late-night offerings. (Here's what the menu looked like when it launched in late August.) "We are all having a great time making food together at this neighborhood spot and are excited to keep that same vibe but with beer, sake, and a special menu at night that changes frequently."
