After Hamersley's Bistro announced that it would close at the end of October, the murmurings began about who would be taking over the space. Over and over again, the murmurings have pointed at The Gallows team (who are also in the process of opening up a doughnut shop nearby). Now, a licensing hearing agenda for the city of Boston suggests that that is indeed the case.
Hamersley's is seeking to transfer its license to an RRG, LLC with Seth Yaffe listed as the manager. RRG likely stands for Rebecca Roth Gullo, the owner of The Gallows, and Yaffe is The Gallows' general manager. No word yet on what the concept might be, but Gullo has had a "Henry's Delicatessen" filed as an LLC for a few years now, and that name also appears as one of her current positions, aside from The Gallows, on her LinkedIn profile. Hit up the tipline with any intel on what'll actually be happening in the Hamersley's space.
UPDATE: Several tipsters tell Eater that it'll be a modern Asian street food concept.
UPDATE 2: The plan is to serve "small, community plates" of international fare, reports Universal Hub, based on licensing hearing.
