Sabroso Taqueria is indeed coming back from the dead, as hinted at by licensing commission information a few months back. Boston Restaurant Talk notices that the team behind popular gyro spot Zo, which has two restaurants and a truck, is behind the new Sabroso.

A new Facebook page for the upcoming taqueria promises that it'll open soon, returning "from the rubble of Filene's." The original restaurant, which focused on tacos and burritos, closed in 2008 due to the demolition of Filene's. Fans used to love the giant portions and reasonable prices. Stay tuned for an opening date for the new spot, located at 2 Oliver Street.
