SOUTH END — The Butcher Shop is celebrating autumn with Harvest Fest, taking place on Sunday, October 5 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event brings together a solid list of restaurants, from Alden & Harlow to the soon-to-open Cafe ArtScience, as well as other vendors, like Savenor's and Harpoon. Activities include a knife-sharpening workshop, doughnut decorating with Stephanie Cmar of Stacked Donuts, a silent auction benefitting the Barbara Lynch Foundation, and more. Tickets are $142 in advance or $150 at the door, if space allows. [Official Site]
