Kennedy's on the Square has opened on the square — Harvard Square, to be exact — reports Boston Restaurant Talk. The new restaurant, which is tied to Kennedy's Public House in Norwood, describes itself as an "inspirational tavern" that serves "local gastro-pub fare," according to its website. Located in the former First Printer space (which previously housed Herrell's Ice Cream), Kennedy's seats 94 and uses the unique vault space for small groups or private events.
On the menu: a smoked meatball sub, duck panini, bison burger, gluten-free spaghetti, and more. Late-night offerings include pizza and sliders, while the brunch menu features dishes like pork belly benedict and vanilla cognac French toast. Wash it all down with a Kennedy-themed cocktail, like the Jackie O: tequila, Domaine de Canton, lime juice, hot sauce, mango, and simply syrup.
Kennedy's on the Square is open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. on weekends.
