After serving the Financial District for more than three decades, Milk Street Cafe has undergone a thorough renovation, which should be complete on Monday. It includes a new sushi station, espresso bar, and bakery and panini station. According to a job posting for a barista, the newly renovated cafe will more "closely mirror [the] popular catering menu."
Milk Street Cafe serves weekday breakfast and lunch from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. (and caters at offices until 6 p.m.) The business is strictly kosher, operating separate kitchens for vegetarian/dairy, meat, and neutral. It also accommodates various other dietary restrictions with gluten-free, lactose-free, and low-carb options.
