Mac's Deli is now open in Brighton's Oak Square, according to a Facebook post from the business. Sandwiches are the focus (made with Boar's Head products); options include Big Papi (pastrami, jack cheese, onion, bacon, chipotle, barbecue sauce, peppers), Thanksgiving (smoked turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mayo, gravy), Big Mac's Italian (mortadella, salami, capicolla, pepperoni, hots, pepperchini, oil, provolone), and lots more. Also on the menu: soups, salads, pasta salads, and some prepared pasta dinners.
Mac's Deli is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Owner Eric Gava, a Citizen Public House alum, also has a pizzeria called Nonno's Gourmet Pizza & Sandwiches in the works near North Station, and it seems that he has expansion plans in mind for Mac's.
