SEAPORT DISTRICT — iFest, a "contemporary Irish festival," takes place at the Seaport World Trade Center this weekend, September 26 through 28. There will be lots of food to eat thanks to a combined roster of local chefs and chefs from Ireland. Boston names include Barbara Lynch, Lydia Shire, and more. FORT POINT — This Friday, September 26, Joslin Diabetes Center is raising funds for its Latino Diabetes Initiative with Ritmos de Salud, an evening of dining and dancing at the Artists for Humanity Epicenter. Participating chefs include Jose Duarte of Taranta, Brian Poe of The Tip Tap Room, and Rodney Murillo of Davio’s. Tickets are $75, and the event runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. [Official Site]
