The Ames Street Deli and Study are almost ready to open, according to a press release. It'll happen next month, although an exact date has not yet been announced. As previously reported, they'll both be located at the new Broad Institute building at 75 Ames Street, Kendall Square, and they will be open six days a week, serving all meals.

Study is described as "elegant and lovely," offering "composed breakfasts," an ever-changing lunch menu (plus a dessert trolley), and tasting menus for dinner, as well as a la carte options. Journeyman's co-founders and chefs, Diana Kudayarova and Tse Wei Lim, have brought on Jon Sanchez as chef de cuisine. Sanchez is an alum of Thomas Keller's Bouchon, among other restaurants.

Meanwhile, The Ames Street Deli, which will share a kitchen with Study, will reflect its name during the day, serving sandwiches and the like. But those won't be just any sandwiches. Expect "delicious, irreverent sandwiches, filled with things and combinations of things rarely seen between two slices of bread," according to the press release. At night, it'll be a cocktail bar with a full range of dinner offerings. Backbar's Sam Treadway and Joe Cammarata will be creating the cocktail list.
