Cactus Club Is Gone for Now, But Maybe Not Forever

Cactus Club, a longtime bar and Tex-Mex restaurant in Back Bay, served its last snow cone margarita (and everything else). The restaurant is now closed, reports Boston Restaurant Talk, with the Globe adding that an agreement couldn't be reached when it came time to renew the lease. But owner Jim Lifton told the paper that he is looking at other potential locations, so the Cactus Club may rise again. The now former location was adjacent to Berklee's Cafe 939, a music venue.
