Taking place on September 23 at the Met Back Bay, the family-style dinner will feature food from Sofra's Geoff Lukas as well as entertainment, including belly-dancing performances.

On the menu: braised lamb shoulder with pomegranate molasses and chickpeas; schmaltzy potatoes with pickled lime; Yemeni honey cakes with comb; and lots more, with particular focus on ingredients traditionally eaten when celebrating Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year — apples, honey, pomegranates, and fenugreek.
