Kindred, a tea and tonic cafe in Davis Square from the owner of Johnny D's (and located right next door), is now shooting for an early October opening. Kindred promises to be "a 10-seat, vinyl playing, laid back cafe; a great place to be whether seeking a perfectly cupped tea, a handcrafted tonic, a light vegetarian meal, or small artisan gifts," according to its website.
