Christina and Melissa, who apparently started out as enemies while working together at a Jamaica Plain bakery, eventually bonded over a shared love of "food, drinks, and throwing parties." Now, the duo wants to bring Dos Gringas Locas to life — "a pop-up taco shop reminding you that any night could be taco night." They've taken to Indiegogo to raise $3000 to start it up, and with about two weeks left, they're almost a third of the way there.

The plan is to pop up in various Jamaica Plain businesses, "bringing the party with [them] wherever [they] go." The crowdfunding campaign money will go towards start-up costs like licensing, space at a commissary, and more. Those who donate can get rewards like tote bags and koozies.
