Study & Ames Street Deli Now Hiring; Sashimi Class

KENDALL SQUARE — Study and Ames Street Deli, two new projects from the team behind Journeyman and Backbar, open in one month. They're both currently hiring for all positions. [FB]

SOUTH END — Uni's Tony Messina will teach a class on fish butchering and sashimi techniques, geared at beginners, at the Boston Center for Adult Education on Monday, September 15, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is $85 (BCAE members save $10.) [BCAE]

HUB-WIDE — Rachel Klein (Liquid Art House) and Michael Schlow (Via Matta and more) talk to the Herald about the difficulties in getting kids to eat well at school. One key? Involve them in the cooking process if you're making them a lunch to bring. [Herald]
