Cafe ArtScience, an upcoming ambitious Kendall Square restaurant/bar/event space/mad scientist paradise, is now aiming to open in late September (the 22nd for lunch and the 29th for dinner), BostInno reports. But in the meantime, interested diners can get a sneak peek at a pop-up event at Tavern Road on August 17. The four-course dinner will include cocktails and wine. Tickets are $70.
The team behind Cafe ArtScience is impressive: Todd Maul (Clio), Patrick Campbell (Eastern Standard), Tom Mastricola (Commonwealth), and David Edwards, a Harvard professor and inventor of all sorts of culinary creations, from breathable energy shots to frozen yogurt balls wrapped in edible skins. Stay tuned for more updates.
