Bergamot's Sibling, BISq, to Open This Fall

BISq, which stands for "Bergamot in Inman Square," will open (in Inman Square) this fall, notes Devra First in her revisit of Bergamot this week. As reported earlier, the restaurant will be located at 1071 Cambridge Street, which is not far from Puritan & Co., East by Northeast, Clover, and Muqueca. First also writes that Kai Gagnon, Bergamot's wine director, will be wine director for both restaurants as well as general manager for BISq, while Bergamot's chef de cuisine Dan Bazzinotti will be in the BISq kitchen.

A sparse Facebook page has popped up for the restaurant, revealing that it will serve "New American...small plates designed to be shared among friends." Furthermore, BISq will offer "a refined menu in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere." Stay tuned for an opening date.
