Sister restaurants Study and Ames Street Deli will open side-by-side in Kendall Square this October, backed by the team from Journeyman and Backbar. The upcoming duo, two of the most anticipated fall openings, are now hiring, and their job postings over on BostonChefs.com shed a little more light on the concepts.
Study will be serving three meals a day, seven days of the week, and promises to feature "seasonal and carefully sourced ingredients" in "thoughtful, elegant a la carte menus" that "draw on both modern & traditional techniques." Also, the drinks will be "diverse and unconventional." Previous reports mentioned an "academic" ambience, which makes sense, considering the name.
Ames Street Deli will also be serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, featuring "thoughtful, opinionated, and precisely executed sandwiches, pastries, and hot beverages."
