Bibim Will Open in Somerville on November 1

Bibim, a Korean restaurant in Allston, is expanding into the former McDonald's space in Somerville's Davis Square, as previously reported. Now, the opening date is slated for November 1, according to a Facebook post from the restaurant.

The restaurant is owned by a mother-and-son team, Young and Ed Kim, and the elder Kim is an artist. She plans to decorate the new Bibim with sculptures and paintings. It could seat about 92, and there will be a full liquor license.
