La Victoria Taqueria, a Mexican street food restaurant in Beverly, is gaining an Arlington sibling, as previously reported — but now it's losing its older sibling. Cielito Lindo, which opened in Beverly in 2006, will close on August 30. The restaurant posted the following message on Facebook:

All of us here at Cielito Lindo Cocina Mexicana are saddened to deliver the news that we will be closing our doors on August 30, 2014 after eight successful and happy years of service. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach agreeable terms for our current location on Cabot Street, but will make sure to keep you all posted on any impending plans on another location nearby. Consequently, "Cielito Lindo will not be associated in any way with any future business that may emerge at this location." In the meanwhile, you may find some of our flavorful and authentic Mexican food right around the corner at La Victoria Taqueria on 6 Wallis St. in Beverly. Thank you all very much for your patronage and we will keep you all posted on our future endeavors."
The Arlington location of La Victoria Taqueria is "coming along," but an opening date hasn't been announced yet.
