Dolphin Seafood, which has been open on the edge of Harvard Square for nearly four decades, will close this Sunday, August 17, according to an email sent to customers:
"Since 1975 we have had the pleasure of serving the Cambridge community the freshest seafood available. Over the last 39 years we have had a very loyal following, and are proud to call many of you our friends. Regretfully, our time here in Cambridge will be coming to an end this weekend, August 17th. We will be closing our doors on this location but will continue to grow our headquarter location in downtown Natick. It's only a short drive from Cambridge and we sincerely hope to have you join us there.A new location of Boston Burger Company might be moving into Dolphin's space, based on licensing info from a few months back.
Finally, we want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all your years of support. We will still be serving patrons through this weekend and would love to have you stop by and have one last great seafood meal at the Dolphin."
