Looks like the shuttered Olea Cafe in Brookline Village could be resurrected and renovated by a Newton man, Rafael Pieretti. He wants to serve "modern Italian fare, with several varieties of bruschetta, panini, and pasta." Also, wine and beer. [Brookline Beacon]
