BoMA Is No More

BoMA, which opened less than two years ago, is now closed, Boston Restaurant Talk reports, citing a poster on Chowhound and an industry source. The restaurant's Facebook and OpenTable pages have disappeared, although the website is still active.

Executive chef Ryan Kelly moved on to become sous chef at The Tip Tap Room a few weeks ago. Local food critic MC Slim JB hears that a new Joshua Tree outpost could be taking over the space. BoMA focused on simple comfort food — burgers, flatbreads, and the like.

UPDATE: The Elephant Walk will open in BoMA's place, not Joshua Tree.
