Buckle your seat belts and loosen your pants. It is time for The Five Days of Meat, a carnivorous extravaganza taking place at this very moment here on Eater Boston and throughout the rest of the Eater universe. From July 7 to July 11, we'll obsess over meat of all kinds with interviews, maps, polls, photo series, and more. Get ready to learn about alternative cuts of steak that are great for grilling, where to find Boston's best goat dishes, why it can be good to cook "slow and low," which unusual meats your favorite chefs have tried, and so much more. Coming up just a little bit later today, we'll let you know about some special dishes and drinks being offered around town this week in honor of The Five Days of Meat, and we'll also open up the nomination process for a poll we'll be running (hint: it's about steak.)
Keep an eye on the hashtag #TFDOM on Twitter to see all the meaty things happening on Eater Boston and the rest of the Eater family, and drop us a line if you've got any thoughts to share.
