Centre Street Cafe Renovations Have Begun

A "major renovation" has begun at Centre Street Cafe, which closed a few weeks ago but will reopen under new ownership — the team behind Tres Gatos. The latter has posted an update to Facebook describing the future of the cafe: "We plan to open with a fresh new look this fall, will continue to offer a similar weekend brunch, and will introduce an entirely new Italian lunch and dinner menu, featuring house-made pasta."

Meanwhile, on the Centre Street Cafe Facebook page, the team promises: "We will continue Felicia's tradition of sourcing as much produce, meat and fish as locally as possible." Here's a look at the demolition that has begun.
