North End restaurant Pomodoro is facing the end of its lease at 319 Hanover Street and could potentially relocate to a former jewelry shop at 204 Hanover, but so far, one of the two neighborhood councils (NEWRA) is strongly opposed to rezoning that space for a restaurant. The other council (NEWNC) will look into the situation at a future meeting. While the Zoning Board of Appeals isn't bound to the decisions of the two councils, they typically have a strong impact.
