Just weeks after its Arch Street opening, UK-based grab-and-go chain Pret a Manger has opened its fifth Boston outpost — 176 Federal Street in the Financial District. The fast-paced expansion is only the start of what could amount to about a dozen new stores in the area over the next five years. Pret a Manger offers salads, sandwiches, and other light prepared foods, and Boston locations partner with the Boston Rescue Mission to get each day's unsold products to people who need them.
The Federal Street location is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.
