What's #OpenInBOS on July 4?

Lots of restaurants have gone on vacation for the week or for a few days around July 4, so here's a guide to what's open and closed, who's offering specials, and other pertinent information for your Independence Day festivities. UPDATE: Boston has moved the fireworks from July 4 to July 3 because of the threat of a storm on the 4th.

OPEN ON JULY 4, 2014

Aragosta: Celebrating July 4 with a pig roast. Various pork specials available between noon and 10 p.m.
The Beehive
Bistro du Midi: Open July 4 and launching a special prix fixe menu (four courses for $45/person) through July 14.
Bostonia Public House: Open July 4. Drink an "Inaugural Mojito."
BOKX 109: Open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Boston Chops: Open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Bukhara Indian Bistro: Open on July 4, and everyone gets a free mango lassi with order.
Bukowksi Tavern: Both locations are open, weather-permitting.
Cambridge Common
Cask N' Flagon: Open July 4 and offering barbecue specials.
City Bar
City Feed and Supply: Both locations are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on July 4.
City Table
Clover: Harvard Square, Inman Square, Kendall Square, Brookline, and Boston Common locations are open July 4.
Diesel Cafe: Open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on July 4.
Diva Indian Bistro: Open on July 4, and everyone gets a free mango lassi with order.
Dosa Factory: Open on July 4, and everyone gets a free mango lassi with order.
East Coast Grill
Estelle's: Open 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. July 4 and offering specials like corn dogs and red, white, and blue shortcake.
Firebrand Saints: Regular hours on July 4.
Garden at the Cellar: The Cellar opens at 4 p.m. downstairs (and a bar menu will be served), but upstairs is closed on July 4.
The Glenville Stops
Hit Wicket: Open 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and showing both World Cup games.
Itadaki: Open July 4. Early brunch/lunch hours from July 4 through July 6 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
jm Curley: Open for lunch on July 4.
KO at the Shipyard: Open all weekend.
Lower Depths: Open, weather-permitting.
Mela: Open on July 4, and everyone gets a free mango lassi with order.
The Merchant: Regular hours all weekend.
Merrill & Co. Open from 11 a.m. on. "Red, White & Booze" cocktails, Jacks Abby beer specials, grilling.
MET: Back Bay, Dedham, and Natick locations are all open.
M.J. O'Connor's: Both locations are open.
Ned Devine's
Neighborhoods Cafe: Open until 6 p.m.
Ole: Open 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; reservations recommended.
Parish Cafe: Both locations open, weather-permitting.
Pier 6: Open 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. July 4. Good views.
Poe's Kitchen at the Rattlesnake: Open, weather-permitting.
Puritan & Co.: Open at 5 p.m, offering a lobster clambake ($35) and a la carte barbecue options.
Restaurant dante: Five-course prix fixe dinner paired with Mayflower Brewing Company beers. $100/person; reservations are recommended.
Salvatore's: All locations open at 2 p.m. for dinner except for the Theatre District, which will open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sam's at Louis
Saus: Open but might close early.
Savenor's: Both locations open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Top of the Hub: Open July 4 with a ticketed dinner event. Attend for the low, low price of $250/person.

West End Johnnies: Opens at 8 p.m. on July 4 and 7 p.m. on July 5 for nightlife but no kitchen. Closed July 6 through July 8.
