Movies at Bloc 11; FareTrade Pop-Up at West Bridge

UNION SQUARE — Celebrate summer evenings at Bloc 11 with free Monday night movies, shown out in the courtyard. The movie starts at 8:30 p.m., and there's popcorn for $3. The full menu is also available until 9 p.m. Tonight, watch The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. [FB]

FINANCIAL DISTRICT — King St. Tavern has softly opened at the Ames Boston Hotel (in the former Woodward at Ames space), although it's just cocktails for now. Dinner will start in a couple of weeks, and Zagat has the details on the four-course menu. Hope you like soup, chopped salad, and bruschetta. [Zagat]

KENDALL SQUARE — This Wednesday, June 11, West Bridge hosts a pop-up with The FareTrade, a company that "curate[s] baskets of desirable little-known food goods and provide members exclusive content to integrate these ingredients into their kitchen prowess." The family-style dinner, dubbed "An Artisanal Affair," will incorporate some of these products into chef Matthew Gaudet's cooking. Interested parties can purchase a pair of tickets for $185, which includes one subscription to The FareTrade. Email reservations@thefaretrade.com to make a reservation. [Official Site]
