Yotel, a chain of hotels featuring tiny hotel rooms (dubbed "cabins"), has locations in New York City, London, and Amsterdam. Boston could be next, if local developer John B. Hynes III gets his way. The 307-room hotel, proposed for Seaport Boulevard across from the Moakley Courthouse, would feature "cabins" that range from 160 to 200 square feet, and the 11-story building would be topped by a rooftop bar. Meanwhile, Hynes is about to start construction on two 22-story apartment buildings nearby, which will include 300,000 square feet of space for restaurants and stores.
