Just in time for summer, the Somerville Licensing Commission has clarified its rules on open doors at restaurants. Doors can be kept "in an open position" from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and exactly 12:01 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Sundays. But be careful, because "permission to have doors and windows in an open position...is a privilege...and may be modified, suspended, or withdrawn." [Somerville Licensing Commission]
