Restaurateur Seth Greenberg has been busy recently. Bastille Kitchen is reportedly days away from opening, and the Globe also reports that Greenberg is opening a new restaurant in Michael Schlow's former Radius on High Street in the Financial District. Greenberg is also a co-owner of Mistral.
A couple weeks ago, Foodservice East heard that the new restaurant would be an outpost of Serafina, an international chain serving Northern Italian food. Indeed, Greenberg's Sterling Group Management website lists Serafina Boston as an upcoming project, confirming that it will be at 10 High Street. It is in the "initial stages of development," and the site refers to it as the "first [Serafina] project" for Greenberg's group, which has acquired the rights to Serafina for all of New England.
Roberto Porsia, an alum of Sel de la Terre, Rialto, Woodward, and more, is general manager of the upcoming restaurant. Serafina Boston will join 17 other locations (10 of which are in the United States, including nine in New York and one in Philadelphia). The rest of the locations are in Asia, the Middle East, and Brazil. Several more international outposts are also in the works.
