Baseball Pop-Up at Strip-T's; Nantucket Prime Opens

WATERTOWN — Strip-T's chef de cuisine Jared Forman is teaming up with SoonSpoon to host a baseball-themed pop-up at Strip-T's at 3 p.m. this Sunday, June 22 (the restaurant is closed on Sundays.) Watch the game, drink beer, and eat five family-style courses, including "Cubano invasion French fries" and a sunflower seed salad. Tickets are $45 and include two drinks and food. [BM, Eventbrite]

SOUTH END — Dinner service begins tonight at Cathedral Station. Here's a look at the menu, offering pub fare like wings, quesadillas, flatbreads, and steak tips. Dinner is served from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. [FB]

NANTUCKET — On Friday, some familiar Boston faces opened up Nantucket Prime, a 160-seat steakhouse, at 29 Broad Street (the Jared Coffin House). Executive chef Joshua Smith was formerly executive chef of Boston's Franklin Restaurant Group, general manager Justin Ito-Adler was beverage director at Commonwealth and wine director of Clio and Uni, and beverage director Jim Lane is an alum of Eastern Standard and Highland Kitchen.
