Merrill & Co. is now serving a late-night menu of ever-changing specials from 11 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Last night's debut included fried oyster sliders ($5 each), chicken & waffle fries ($10), fried catfish ($15), and the "line cook's whim," a soy-miso-marinated hot dog with nuoc cham, sambal aioli, cilantro, and scallions (two for $8).
Meanwhile in Downtown Crossing, Merrill & Co.'s sister restaurant, jm Curley, is begging you to please try something other than the ultra-popular burger. "Please help us dig out of 'burgatory' and take a gander at the rest of the menu, it's kind of awesome too."
