Long Island City pop-up (soon-to-be-brick-and-mortar) ramen sensation Mu Ramen is coming to Harvard Square next year, according to a post on Twitter. Per Se alum Joshua Smookler and his wife Heidy are behind the growing company, which got a huge influx in business after topping a recent NY Times ramen list. The Smooklers offer a selection of ramen, including a tonkotsu-style soup (pork-based) and a spicy miso, as well as steamed buns and snacks like edamame and shishito peppers. Their Long Island City brick-and-mortar is set to open in July. Stay tuned for more details about their eventual Cambridge arrival.
