NORTH END — Vesuvio, a potential new restaurant from the owner of Carmelina's and Vito's Tavern, ran into opposition from one of the neighborhood councils, NEWNC, who voted 5-4 against changing the zoning of a space at Hanover and Commercial Streets to allow for a restaurant. The proposal will go before the other neighborhood council, NEWRA, before heading to the Boston Zoning Board of Appeals. [NEWaterfront]
