The State of Boston Tacos; Italian Craft Beer at Magoun's

New, 1 comment

HUB-WIDE — For the Globe, writer Erin Ailworth and "a handful of other transplanted California-Mexicans" search the Boston area for the tacos of their youth. Sadly, they find very little that truly satisfies them, except at Beantown Taqueria and Lone Star Taco Bar. [BG]

MAGOUN SQUARE — It's time for a new monthly round of Wednesday night specials at Olde Magoun's Saloon. For May, there's an "Italian Birra and Bar Food" menu, including hard-to-find Italian craft beers like Birrificio Loverbeer and Birreria le Baladin. [BM]

ALLSTON — Turns out Erbaluce chef/owner Charles Draghi is also a playwright. For the second year in a row, he'll have a new play performed as part of the annual Boston Theater Marathon at BU's Boston Playwright's Theatre. [FB]
