It's time once again for liquid nitrogen-based ice cream served out of a shipping container on Harvard campus. Churn2 has just reopened for the season, according to a Facebook post from the ice cream...container, and they'll be open until 7 p.m. tonight. Today's flavors are glazed donut and chocolate banana.
Located on Harvard's Science Center plaza, the ice cream stand offers a rotating variety of flavors, chilled to order thanks to liquid nitrogen, which has the added bonus of creating some visual flair. It was typically open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. last year; stay tuned for this year's hours, or swing by tonight (it's warm out!) and drop us a line with any intel.
