The Eastie Sonny Noto's Has Closed

After more than half a century, Sonny Noto's has closed its East Boston location, but its newer Wakefield spot remains open. Facebook fans mourning the abrupt closure mention favorite dishes like the steak and cheese sub and the spaghetti, and a 2010 Phoenix review from MC Slim JB praises the "terrific" steak tips, "cubes of flap meat bathed in a sweet marinade, well-charred yet still juicy."
