Can't get a seat at your favorite burger joint? Arrived too late to get your hands on the limited Craigie on Main or Alden & Harlow burger? One day, you'll have a back-up plan. The oddly-named (for multiple reasons) Plan B Burger Bar, a small Connecticut chain with one Massachusetts location out in Springfield, plans to expand to Boston, according to its website. It's also heading for Atlanta, Chicago, and DC. A tipster tells Eater that the Boston location is probably two or three years away from becoming a reality.
The restaurant promises that its "breathtaking burgers" are made with "100% Verified Humane" beef with "NO antibiotics, NO hormones, NO fillers, NO added colors, NO chemicals," and the meat is fresh-ground by in-house butchers. There are also "boutique bourbons" and beer, plus "high caliber comfort foods that take you back to your childhood."
