The Ames Boston Hotel's previous restaurant, Woodward at Ames, closed just over a year ago, leaving a pretty swanky two-story space ready for a new restaurant. Now, that new restaurant is almost here. King St. Tavern will open on June 1, according to the hotel's website. There will be a full bar and dining room on the first floor, while the second floor will be used for events. Expect "urban pub fare," live music, and "high energy and sophistication." Ambiance-wise, it looks much the same as before.
