Taste of Faneuil Hall Tonight; Boston Calling Food

SOMERVILLE — Cuisine en Locale owner JJ Gonson doesn't want you all cooped up inside this summer, so she's suspending weekend brunches until the fall. But first, there's one last weekend full of brunches, so head over this Saturday and/or Sunday, May 24-25, for some sticky bun French toast and more. [FB]

FANEUIL HALL — The second annual Taste of Faneuil Hall takes place tonight (May 22) from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., right in the Faneuil Hall rotunda and at Ned Devine's. Venues including Anthem Kitchen + Bar, Frost Ice Bar, Wagamama, and more will be sampling their wares. Tickets are $10, and proceeds benefit Room to Grow, an organization that aims to enrich the lives of babies born into poverty. Go now; some tickets are available at the door. [Eventbrite]

GOVERNMENT CENTER — The Boston Calling music festival kicks off tomorrow at City Hall Plaza and lasts through Sunday night. Tasty Burger, Roxy's Grilled Cheese, Bon Me, Chicken & Rice Guys, and Chipotle will be feeding the masses, and there will be plenty of Sam Adams. (Unlike last year, beer will be allowed throughout the grounds of the festival.) [Official Source]
