Hugh Acheson Visits Flour, The Wine Emporium, Toro

Now that Top Chef has landed in Boston and filming has reportedly begun, sightings are rolling in. Tipsters saw Top Chef judge Hugh Acheson around town yesterday — at one point, he was at Flour Bakery + Cafe in Back Bay, where he said he had just arrived in town and was waiting to get picked up for a shoot. "He was very nice!!" adds the tipster, and he posed for a photo with her and her young son.

At 7:45 p.m., by his own account, Acheson was "hanging at [the] bar" at Toro.

Then, he was spotted at The Wine Emporium in the South End around 9 p.m. yesterday, where he bought a half pint of Knob Creek whiskey, according to a tipster. He reportedly said that the Top Chef team was "very happy to be in Boston" and has already been filming for about three days. He was "really friendly and nice," according to the tipster. Hit up the tipline if you've had any sightings of your own.
