The WOW Barbecue Brick-and-Mortar Is Softly Open

The WOW Barbecue brick-and-mortar location softly opened in Malden earlier this month, according to the restaurant's Facebook page. The business started out as a food truck offering Chinese-style grilled lamb skewers. The truck is still on the road around Chinatown, Boston University, and Northeastern, although the schedule has been more sporadic lately as the team has been focusing on the restaurant.

The restaurant will eventually be open 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., but for now, it has generally been opening at 5 p.m.; keep an eye on Facebook for updates. The grand opening will be on June 2, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
