Whiskey 101 at Saloon; Show Toon Tuesday at dbar

DORCHESTER — Sing along with "evil queens, lovelorn princesses and more than a few animated animals" at dbar tonight, starting at 9 p.m., for Show Toon Tuesday. [FB]

DAVIS SQUARE — Saloon begins a monthly whiskey class series tonight at 7 p.m. with "Whiskey 101," which will include tastings of bourbon, rye, scotch, and Irish whiskey. FINANCIAL DISTRICT — Tomorrow (Wednesday, May 21), The Langham, Boston is opening up its Terrace at The Langham for al fresco lunching and after-work snacking and drinking. It'll be open on weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. as well as 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The lunch menu includes lobster rolls and chowder because, hey, this is Boston, and the evening menu includes snacks like lobster guacamole and Mediterranean olive misto.
