KT&T Launches Brunch; Texas Breakfast

SOMERVILLE — On Memorial Day (Monday, May 26), Bread and Salt is collaborating with Soon Spoon and Opus Affair to hold a "Texas breakfast" event at Cuisine en Locale. It's a two-part event: takeout is available from 9 a.m. until noon (or until the tacos run out), and there's also a ticketed, seated breakfast at 9:30 a.m. For takeout, the menu includes three types of tacos (bacon, egg, and cheese; potato, egg, and cheese; migas) for $3 each with sides like smoked Texas pit beans and chips & salsa. The seated event will be a "proper Texas feast," including coffee and beer, because that's what needs to be done at 9:30 on a holiday morning. 25 tickets are available ($25). [Eventbrite]
