It's opening day for the first United States location of London-based, Italian-style Caffè Nero, reports @FortPointer via a tweet from the coffee shop chain. It's located right here in Boston's Downtown Crossing at the fancy Millennium Place development, which is also home to Legal Crossing. In addition to espresso and other coffee-related drinks, the cafe serves a small food menu — light breakfasts, sandwiches, pastries.
Caffè Nero is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and features a fireplace and lots of table-space for working and windows for people-watching. (It'll only be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today, though.)
