Sa Pa, a Vietnamese restaurant in Downtown Crossing, is opening its new Cleveland Circle outpost this coming Monday, May 19, in the former Bangkok Bistro space. (Bangkok Bistro, a Thai restaurant, has since moved elsewhere in Brighton.) The 50-seat restaurant will match the bright color scheme of the original location, and beer and wine will be available, according to a press release.
The menu is a simple assortment of banh mi-style sandwiches and burritos, pho, and bowls (rice, noodles, or greens) with a variety of toppings, like braised beef or lemongrass shrimp. There are also a couple sides — egg rolls and homemade kimchi. The new Sa Pa will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Catering will also be available.
