McCabe's on Mass Opens Today

McCabe's on Mass opens today in the former Dubliner Pub space in Porter Square, reports Boston Restaurant Talk, citing a Facebook post from the restaurant. It's a sibling to Bull McCabe's in Somerville's Union Square, but the concept is different — there will be no live music, for one thing. The menu includes "a large selection of small plates with different influences from around the world," co-owner Brian Manning told Eater previously. While the name was originally intended to be McCabe's Bar & Grille, it seems that "McCabe's on Mass" has taken hold, based on the restaurant's Facebook page and website. The doors open at 4 p.m. today.
