Nicholas Dowling, previously chef at Citizen Public House, Franklin Cafe, and Franklin Southie, is opening his own 36-seat restaurant in West Medford, reports the Globe. Called Snappy Patty's, Dowling's spot will serve "upscale, contemporary American food," including mini patty melt sliders. It's open "in the next few weeks."
