Soft-Shell Crab Month at The MET; Taste of W. Roxbury

WEST ROXBURY — West Roxbury Main Streets hosts the third annual Taste of West Roxbury this Thursday, May 15, at the Irish Social Club. More than 20 local restaurants are participating, including Rox Diner, West on Centre, Al Wadi, and more. Tickets are $25 online or $30 at the door. [WRMS.org]

SOMERVILLE — Cambridge Day chats with barismo's Jaime Van Schyndel about the coffee roaster's expansion to Somerville. The barismo roasting operations are moving from Arlington to Somerville's new Aeronaut Brewing Company space near Union Square, and the Arlington barismo will become more of an actual cafe, like its Cambridge sibling, dwelltime, with the roasting moving offsite.
